Commercial Development History Info

Posted by Admin on December 15, 2009

The Workgroup discussed properties that needed to be rehabbed, or in the case of the Too Mad corner, rebuilt.   Noting that the social fabric of a community and how people interact with each other emphasis the importance of the downtown.  Need for RFPs to move forward for rehabbing multiple historic buildings.

An RFP was written and advertised for the Columbian Hotel.  Although the RFP was not the initial draw for the sale of the building, the RFP information that was prepared aided in the finalization of the sale.
